Earn a Dietetics Bachelor’s Degree or Take the Didactic Dietetic Coursework Only
If applicants are matched, they are matched to only one dietetic internship. Students who complete the program will be prepared to gain admittance into dietetic internships graduate programs, or find positions related to food, nutrition and health care. There is no absolute requirement, but experience gained through employment and volunteer activities are considered. Students are responsible for staying informed about and ensuring that they meet the requirements for graduation.
To find out which programs participate in either the Fall or April match visit: A minimum grade of C- must be achieved for credits to count toward the fulfillment of 47 credits in NTDT; a minimum grade of C- in NTDT level courses must be achieved to proceed to upper-level courses. Integrating knowledge and research into coursework, the program provides students with an understanding of basic sciences, and theoretical and applied aspects of nutrition and dietetics. NTDT courses numbered and are required to be taken at the University of Delaware unless permission given to take them elsewhere has been approved by the DPD Director.
